Sofre - eating mat. Northern Afghanistan. Kilims of this type have recently been grouped with other strays as 'Darya Uzbek'. In the bazaars they are known as Tartar or Hazara. As they are relatively rare and not made now, we might never know. This is a good example and probably dates around the 1930s.
